Altan Gördüm — Biography

Altan Gördüm was born in Adana on December 1, 1958. He began acting through the courses of the Ankara Art Theatre in the 1979-1980 season, working there as an actor, director and instructor until the 1995-1996 season, before joining the State Theatre in 2000.

With an extensive filmography, Gördüm has appeared in films such as Devrim Arabaları (2008), Labirent (2011), Türk Pasaportu (2011) and Şeytan-ı Racim (2013), as well as the series Muhteşem Yüzyıl and Bir Zamanlar Çukurova, becoming widely known for his role as Haşmet Çolak in the latter.

Gördüm has a daughter, Alize Gördüm, also an actress, from his 22-year marriage to actress Vahide Perçin, and has said the two remained on friendly terms after their separation.
