Burcu Almeman — Biography

Burcu Almeman is a Turkish actress, born on 22 December 1974 in Istanbul. She trained at the Ballet and Theatre department of Hacettepe University's Ankara State Conservatory, and after this stage-oriented education she built her career mainly in television.

Her first screen role came in 2002 with the series Yarım Elma. Over the following years she appeared in productions such as Asla Unutma, the hospital drama Doktorlar and the crime series Kanıt. 2011 proved a busy year: she was seen in the casts of Adını Feriha Koydum, Küçük Hanımefendi and the long-running family comedy Çocuklar Duymasın. In 2012 she also worked in comedy with Pis Yedili.

On ATV she played the character Selin in the series Kırgın Çiçekler (2015). She later took roles in the daytime series Kırık Hayatlar and Aşk ve Umut. Married and the mother of twins, Almeman continues to take on new projects.
