Eda Ece — Biography

Eda Ece — full name Eda Ece Uzunalioğlu Tuncer — was born on June 20, 1990, in Istanbul. After finishing Şişli Terakki High School she studied psychology at Istanbul Bilgi University; a university theater performance caught a talent manager's attention and set her on a professional acting path.

She began on screen with guest appearances in Hayat Bilgisi, Bez Bebek and Adını Feriha Koydum before landing her first leading role in the youth series Pis Yedili (2011-2014), a performance that earned her Best Actress at the Ayaklı Gazete awards. She went on to star in Beni Böyle Sev and İlişki Durumu: Karışık. Her first lead film role came in Kızım İçin (2013); she later played Ceren in the Kocan Kadar Konuş films and Deniz in Görümce, and appeared in comedies such as Deli Dumrul and Deliha 2.

Her portrayal of Yıldız Yılmaz in the FOX drama Yasak Elma, which ran from 2018 to 2023, marked the high point of her career and earned her the Turkish Actress of the Year award at the Murex d'Or ceremony. She returned to the big screen in 2026 as Aslı in the film Sonunda Sen.
