Cihan Şimşek — Biography
Turan Cihan Şimşek was born on August 6, 1992, in Germany. After training as an actor, he began his career in 2008 playing Selim in the series Bez Bebek, and appeared in commercials for brands such as Krispi, Haribo, Eti Cin and Turkcell. He gained wider recognition playing the lead role of Metehan in the Disney Channel Turkey series Zil Çalınca.
In the following years he took on the roles of Poyraz in Bir Yastıkta, Deniz in Beni Böyle Sev and Ali in the Star TV series Medcezir, before playing Cüneyt in the 2016 series Hanım Köylü. He portrayed Sinan Yorulmaz in the 2017 film 4N1K and later appeared in its television spin-off, 4N1K İlk Aşk.
Şimşek lives in Istanbul and is married to Selin Şimşek.
