Husband Factor (Kocan Kadar Konuş)
Kocan Kadar Konuş (Husband Factor) is a 2015 Turkish romantic comedy directed by Kıvanç Baruönü, adapted from Şebnem Burcuoğlu's best-selling novel of the same name.
The story follows Efsun, a woman who has turned thirty without ever managing a proper relationship, because she refuses to play the coy games other women use to attract men. Her family from İzmir, convinced they have mastered the art of womanhood, takes her under their wing and gives her a complete makeover to make her marriageable. Just as they prepare to present the transformed Efsun to the world, she unexpectedly crosses paths with Sinan, her unforgettable high-school sweetheart. Caught between her family's lessons and her own feelings, she tries to steer this long-awaited reunion toward marriage.
Ezgi Mola and Murat Yıldırım star as Efsun and Sinan, with Muhammet Uzuner, Nevra Serezli, Gülenay Kalkan, Eda Ece, Ebru Cündübeyoğlu and Bora Akkaş among the supporting cast. Produced by BKM Film, the film humorously tackles the pressure placed on women in Turkish society to find a husband from an early age.
