Esin Gündoğdu — Biography
Esin Gündoğdu is a Turkish actress born in 1977 in Ankara. After spending years gaining stage experience with the Virgül Theatre company, she stepped into her on-screen career in 2004 with the series Avrupa Yakası.
In the years that followed she brought a range of characters to life in series such as Baba Oluyorum, Olacak O Kadar, Merhaba Hayat, Yedikule Hayat Yokuşu and Aşk Yeniden, and became widely known for her portrayal of the character Türkmen in the Show TV series Yeni Gelin.
On the cinema side, she launched her film career with Recep İvedik 2 and went on to appear in productions such as Sürgün, Kocan Kadar Konuş and Vezir Parmağı. In 2026 she drew public attention after losing 72 kilograms, and she also spoke openly about certain deficiencies revealed by the health checks she underwent during that process.
