My Heart Stayed in the Aegean (Kalbim Ege'de Kaldı) (translated)
Kalbim Ege'de Kaldı is a Turkish family and romantic comedy television series produced by Limon Film, which premiered on June 24, 2015. Directed by Ömer Uğur and Eray Koçak from a screenplay by Gül Abus Semerci, it was filmed in Istanbul and İzmir and ended its run on October 18, 2015 with its 16th episode.
The story begins when Iraz Nene summons Zeliş and Mustafa, who live in Istanbul, and asks them to marry, promising them a valuable field as inheritance if the marriage lasts. The two, who are complete opposites, plan a short-term marriage for the sake of the inheritance, but after learning that her situation is not what they believed, they are forced to stay married. Oya Unustası and Alper Saldıran starred in the leading roles, and the finale, never shown on television, was released online by the production company in 2024.
