Yeliz Akkaya — Biography

Yeliz Akkaya was born on 6 December 1981 in İstanbul. She received acting training in the Theatre Department of the Müjdat Gezen Culture and Art Center.

Akkaya had her first acting experience in 2002 with the series Hızma; after the series Melek and Azize, she became known as Esra in Yabancı Damat. The actress, who drew attention with the role of Melek in the series Binbir Gece, also appeared in Aşk Üçgeni, Karadağlar, Küçük Hanımefendi, Farklı Desenler, Vicdan, Kalbim Ege'de Kaldı and Hayat Sevince Güzel.

Akkaya, who also took part in cinema with the films O Kadın, Meryem and Geçmiş, portrayed the character Hatice in the series Savaşçı in 2017. In 2022 she played Suna in the series Duy Beni and Suzan in Son Nefesime Kadar.
