Göklerdeki Sevgili

Göklerdeki Sevgili is a 1966 Turkish film directed by Remzi Jöntürk. It tells of the love between Timur, a pilot officer, and Yıldız, the young woman he loves from his village. Though the family opposes them, the couple is separated when Timur is posted to Cyprus; he fights heroically, but his plane crashes and word reaches the village that he has died. Pressured by her family, Yıldız is married to another man, only for Timur to return years later. Cüneyt Arkın and Selda Alkor take the lead roles, with Ulvi Uraz and Ali Şen also in the cast.
