Abdülhamid Düşerken is a 2002 Turkish historical film directed and written by Ziya Öztan, adapted from Nahid Sırrı Örik's novel Sultan Hamid Düşerken and released in cinemas on 18 April 2003. With a budget exceeding one million dollars, it was at the time the most expensive production in Turkish cinema history. It was shot at authentic locations such as Yıldız Palace and Maslak Mansion, as well as on massive sets built in the garden of Marmara University that recreated the old Beyoğlu and İstiklal Avenue.

Framed by a love story, the film portrays the era of Sultan Abdul Hamid II — hailed by some as the "Great Khan" and scorned by others as the "Red Sultan". Amid the turbulent period from the proclamation of the Constitutional Era to the sultan's dethronement, it follows Major Şefik, a member of the Committee of Union and Progress, torn between his love for a minister's daughter and his hunger for power. The cast includes Halil Ergün, Tarık Akan, Meltem Cumbul and Fikret Kuşkan.
