Levent Ülgen — Biography

Born Ömer Levent Ülgen in 1962 in Konya (Cihanbeyli), the actor graduated from Ankara İnönü High School and the Physics Department at METU before completing the Theatre Department of the Hacettepe University Conservatory. He began on stage at Erkan Yücel's Ankara People's Theatre, continued at Rutkay Aziz's Ankara Art Theatre and later the State Theatres, appearing in more than thirty stage productions.

Ülgen made his film debut in 1992 with Kurşun Adres Sormaz, but became widely known for playing the scheming son-in-law Kadir in the television series En Son Babalar Duyar (2002-2006). He stayed on screen for five seasons as Sinan in Akasya Durağı, and appeared in productions such as Çocuklar Duymasın, Terkedilmiş, Niyazi Gül Dört Nala, Kasap Havası, Bizum Hoca, Devrimden Sonra, Nene Hatun, and Türkler Çıldırmış Olmalı.

He remained prolific through the 2010s and 2020s, taking roles in Kiralık Aşk, playing Danyal in Hayati ve Diğerleri, and appearing in Kuzgun, Gençliğim Eyvah, and Kötü Kan, continuing to work across both film and television sets over a career spanning more than three decades.
