The Turks Must Be Crazy (Türkler Çıldırmış Olmalı)

The Turks Must Be Crazy (Türkler Çıldırmış Olmalı) is a 2009 Turkish adventure comedy written and directed by Murat Aslan.

The story begins when Turkey's wealthiest and most famous businessman, while sailing around the world on his boat, is taken hostage by Somali pirates who demand a huge ransom. To free him, a specially trained rescue team is dispatched from Ankara, and the film follows the team's unusual, action-filled escapades in Africa with a distinctly comic tone.

Peker Açıkalın and Önder Açıkbaş head the cast, supported by Levent Ülgen, Ruhi Sarı, Timur Acar, Tuba Ünsal, and Zeynep Beşerler.
