Zerrin Tekindor — Biography

Zerrin Tekindor (born August 5, 1964, in Burhaniye) is a Turkish actress and painter. She graduated from the Theatre Department of the Hacettepe University State Conservatory in 1985, worked at the Adana and Ankara State Theatres, and was appointed to the Istanbul State Theatre in 2003. Her stage performances earned her the Afife Theatre Award three times, in 2004, 2010 and 2014; as a painter she has also opened numerous solo exhibitions.

She reached wide on-screen recognition with the role of Matmazel in Aşk-ı Memnu (2008) and appeared in the series Kuzey Güney (2011), Kurt Seyit ve Şura (2014) and Kara Sevda (2015). In cinema she stood out with İstanbul Kırmızısı (2017), Müslüm (2018), in which she played Muhterem Nur, and Three Thousand Years of Longing (2022). In recent years she appeared in the series Dünyayla Benim Aramda (2022), Yüz Yıllık Mucize (2023) and Ben Onun Annesiyim (2025); in 2026 she was on stage with Halit Ergenç in the play Satıcının Ölümü.
