The Man from Deliorman (Deliormanlı) (translated)

Deliormanlı is a 2016 Turkish sports drama film directed by Murat Şeker, who co-wrote the screenplay with Ali Tanrıverdi. Produced by SugarWorkz and TAFF Pictures, it opened in Türkiye on April 1, 2016, and was released the same month in several other countries, including Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, and Azerbaijan.

The story follows Savaş Türkyılmaz, a European champion national boxer nicknamed "Deliormanlı." After losing his wife, he disappears from the ring, but returns to prepare for a big final match in order to pay his mother's mounting medical bills. Along the way he crosses paths with Hülya Yiğit, a television journalist chasing the story behind him, while their greatest obstacle proves to be Tahsin Kara, a famous manager and mafia boss. Sarp Levendoğlu, Birce Akalay, and Gürkan Uygun star in the leading roles.
