The Gift (Atiye)

Atiye, released internationally as The Gift, is a Turkish Netflix original that premiered on December 27, 2019, becoming the platform's second Turkish original series. Adapted from Şengül Boybaş's novel Dünyanın Uyanışı, it was written by Jason George and Nuran Evren Şit, directed by Ozan Açıktan, and co-produced with OG Medya.

Blending drama, thriller, and fantasy, the series follows Atiye, a young Istanbul painter who has unknowingly drawn the same mysterious symbol since childhood. When archaeologist Erhan uncovers the identical symbol among the ruins of Göbeklitepe, her seemingly perfect life unravels, launching a quest to uncover secrets of her past hidden within the ancient site. Beren Saat leads the cast alongside Mehmet Günsür, Metin Akdülger, and Melisa Şenolsun. Three eight-episode seasons were released, with the finale arriving on June 17, 2021.
