Selen Öztürk — Biography
Selen Öztürk was born on 23 July 1980 in İzmir. Her mother is a Turkish Cypriot and her father is from Uşak. After graduating from the Hacettepe University State Conservatory in 2004, she moved to Istanbul and began her stage career.
Working as a voice actress since 1994, Öztürk stepped in front of the camera with the series Kara Yılan (2007). After Bir Varmış Bir Yokmuş (2008), she gained worldwide fame with the character of Gülfem Hatun in Muhteşem Yüzyıl (2011).
She appeared in the series Benim Adım Gültepe (2014), Serçe Sarayı (2015) and Hatırla Gönül (2015), and acted in the films Çilek (2014), Çiçero and Cep Herkülü: Naim Süleymanoğlu (2019). The actress, who portrayed Seniha Sultan in Payitaht Abdülhamid (2017), most recently appeared before audiences as Hasna in the series Kızıl Goncalar (2023) and in the film Ayşe Tatile Çıktı (2025).
