Tim Seyfi — Biography
Timur Seyfettin Ölmez was born on 10 August 1971 in Yıldızeli, Sivas Province, and is a Turkish-German actor known professionally as Tim Seyfi. He trained as an actor under Ute Cremer in Munich, John Costopoulos in New York, and at the Cours Florent school in Paris; he first appeared on camera hosting for the German channel Tele 5 and took on increasing numbers of film and television roles from 1997 onward. In 2001 he won the Best Actor award at the Badalona International Film Festival in Spain for the short film The Cookie Thief. In 2017 he took his first starring part, playing Commissioner Pascha in a television series named after the character. Over his career he has appeared in productions such as Duvara Karşı, Vincent Wants to Sea, Bye Bye Germany and Die Känguru-Chroniken, took the lead in the series Osman Sekiz in 2022, and appeared in Guy Ritchie's film Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre in 2023.
