Germany 09

Germany 09 (original title: Deutschland 09 – 13 kurze Filme zur Lage der Nation) is a 2009 German anthology film bringing together thirteen short films by different directors, each reflecting on the state of the nation at the time. Initiated by Tom Tykwer and premiered at the 59th Berlinale, it was conceived thirty years on as a response to the 1977 collective film Germany in Autumn (Deutschland im Herbst). Its directors include the Turkish-German filmmaker Fatih Akın and Wolfgang Becker, while the cast features Denis Moschitto, Tim Seyfi, and Uwe Bohm.
