Uwe Bohm — Biography
Uwe Bohm, born Uwe Enkelmann on January 23, 1962, in the Wilhelmsburg district of Hamburg, was a German stage and film actor. He gained widespread recognition with his breakthrough role in the 1976 youth drama Nordsee ist Mordsee (North Sea Is Dead Sea).
Over a career spanning more than four decades, Bohm appeared in over 100 film and television productions while continuing to perform on stage. He became one of German cinema's familiar character actors through roles in films such as Yasemin (1988), Herzlich willkommen (1990), Vaya con Dios (2002), Gold (2013) and Goodbye Berlin (2016).
Uwe Bohm died on April 8, 2022, in Berlin.
