Flower of Love (Sevda Çiçeği) (translated)

Sevda Çiçeği (Flower of Love) is a Turkish romantic comedy series that aired on Show TV in the summer of 2006. Produced by Masal Evi and Süreç Film, it was conceived as a 13-episode summer series but was extended to 24 episodes thanks to high ratings and strong viewer demand, becoming the most-watched series of the 2006 summer season.

The story follows Leyla's efforts to make Selim fall in love with her, during which both gradually and unwittingly fall for each other. Gökhan Özen, who took up acting in the sixth year of his music career, shared the lead role with Yasemin Hadivent in this first series project, joined by veteran performers such as Savaş Dinçel, Halit Akçatepe, Gül Onat, Bahar Erdeniz, and Altan Karındaş. The production is also remembered as Savaş Dinçel's last completed series. Directed by Kartal Çidamlı and Tevfik Şenol from a screenplay by Özgür Evren Heptürk, the series was later broadcast in various Middle Eastern countries in 2011.
