Çıldıran Kadın
Çıldıran Kadın is a 1948 Turkish film directed by Baha Gelenbevi, adapted from Vedat Örfi Bengü's novel Bir Yuva Böyle Yıkıldı, for which Bengü also wrote the screenplay. It tells of two men in love with the same woman: one of them marries her, and when she proves unfaithful his home falls apart and he ends up killing his close friend. The film is remembered as one of the earliest experiments with colour in Turkish cinema, a single scene showing the Kız Kulesi having been shot in colour. Reşit Gürzap and Hulusi Kentmen are among the cast.
