Albay Redl

Colonel Redl (Oberst Redl) is a 1985 historical drama directed by the Hungarian filmmaker István Szabó. It follows the rise and fall of Alfred Redl, an officer in the Austro-Hungarian army. The film was made as a Hungarian–Austrian–German co-production with the participation of the Austrian broadcaster ORF, and its cast includes the Hungarian actor of Turkish descent Can Togay.
