The Last Ottoman (Son Osmanlı) (translated)

Son Osmanlı (full title Son Osmanlı Yandım Ali / The Last Ottoman) is a Turkish action film adapted from Suat Yalaz's comic strip of the same name, released on January 19, 2007. Directed by Mustafa Şevki Doğan and produced by Özen Film, it follows İstanbul tough guy Yandım Ali, who is inspired by Mustafa Kemal Paşa's landing at Samsun to join the Turkish War of Independence during the occupation of Constantinople.

The film stars Kenan İmirzalıoğlu, Cansu Dere, Engin Şenkan, and Anna Babkova in the lead roles, with Esra Ronabar, Cem Cücenoğlu, and Öner Erkan rounding out the cast. It went on to become the fourth highest-grossing Turkish film of 2007.
