Emin Boztepe — Biography

Born in 1962 in Eskişehir, Emin Boztepe is a martial arts master who relocated to Germany with his family as a child. After early exposure to taekwondo and karate, he turned to Wing Tsun and built a worldwide reputation in the discipline, eventually formalizing his own approach under the name EBMAS, the Emin Boztepe Martial Arts System.

His profile rose sharply after he accepted a challenge from rival Wing Chun grandmaster William Cheung at a seminar in Germany and defeated him, a result widely discussed within the martial arts world. Boztepe went on to train military and police units in the United States, and in 1990 moved into the Hollywood film industry as a fight choreographer and actor trainer, later studying acting himself at the Acting Institute.

He contributed to productions such as "Anna Karenina" and co-produced "Rich and Famous," while as an actor he appeared in films including "The Last Ottoman: Knockout Ali" and "Pusat" before landing his first leading role in Alper Çağlar's "Panzehir" (2014). He was also known for a past relationship with British actress Jacqueline Bisset.
