Ethos (Bir Başkadır)

Bir Başkadır, known internationally as Ethos, is a Turkish drama series written and directed by Berkun Oya, released on Netflix on 12 November 2020. Produced by Ali Ferhunde and Nisan Ceren Göçen for Krek Film and edited by Ali Aga, it consists of a single season of eight episodes. Filmed in Istanbul, the series brings together characters from dramatically different socio-cultural backgrounds who meet under startling circumstances.

The ensemble cast includes Öykü Karayel, Fatih Artman, Funda Eryiğit, Defne Kayalar and Tülin Özen, alongside performers such as Alican Yücesoy, Nesrin Cavadzade, Derya Karadaş, Bige Önal, Settar Tanrıöğen, Öner Erkan and Gökhan Yıkılkan. The story follows a group of individuals in Istanbul who transcend sociocultural boundaries and find connection as their fears and wishes intertwine. The series won the Golden Butterfly Award for Best Internet Series.
