Stolen Kisses (Çalınan Buseler)

Stolen Kisses (Baisers volés) is a 1968 French romantic comedy-drama directed by François Truffaut, the third installment in his five-film Antoine Doinel cycle. Jean-Pierre Léaud returns as Antoine, who, after being discharged from the army, reunites with his girlfriend Christine Darbon (Claude Jade). He first takes a job as a hotel night clerk, and after losing it, joins a private detective agency, where an assignment leads him into a complicated encounter with Fabienne Tabard (Delphine Seyrig), the wife of a client.

Co-written by Truffaut with Claude de Givray and Bernard Revon, the film takes its original French title from a Charles Trenet song used as its signature tune. It won the Louis Delluc Prize and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
