Acı Zafer

Acı Zafer is a 1972 drama directed by Halit Refiğ, one of the leading figures of Turkish cinema. At its heart are two brothers who take very different paths in life: one serves as a gendarme captain while the other works as a labourer, and the story turns on the bond and the tension between them. Made in the Yeşilçam tradition of the period, the film features Turgut Özatay among its cast.
