Kuruluş: Osmancık (Kuruluş/Osmancık)

Kuruluş "Osmancık" is a Turkish historical epic television series adapted from Tarık Buğra's novel of the same name, which began airing on TRT 1 on January 10, 1988. Produced by İlksen Bektaş and directed by Yücel Çakmaklı, the series follows Osman Gazi from his youth through his rise as leader of the Kayı tribe to the birth of the Ottoman state, ending with Osman's death after his son Orhan Gazi's conquest of Bursa.

Cihan Ünal stars as Osman Gazi, joined by a cast including Yaşar Alptekin, Meral Orhonsay, Baykal Saran and Erol Taş. Running for twelve episodes, the series concluded with its finale on March 27, 1988. Some scenes were filmed around Mamure Castle in Anamur and the ancient city of Anemurium, and the production stands among the earliest Turkish television dramas devoted to the founding era of the Ottoman Empire.
