Burak Tamdoğan — Biography

Burak Tamdoğan was born on March 3, 1971 in Ankara. He studied at the Psychology Department of METU between 1989 and 1996, and at the Theatre Department of Ankara University between 1996 and 2001. During his student years he worked as an actor and director in various companies, above all at Ankara Sanat Tiyatrosu.

He began his screen career in 1993 with the series Ferhunde Hanımlar. In 2007 he played Osman in the series Parmaklıklar Ardında and Tarık Bey in Karayılan. In 2014 he won great acclaim with the role of Commissioner Hüseyin in Kara Para Aşk. In 2018-2019 he played Azmi in Elimi Bırakma, broadcast on TRT 1, and portrayed Şahabettin Pasha in Mehmed: Bir Cihan Fatihi. In 2023 he appeared before viewers as Akbar in the series Adım Farah.

In cinema he appeared in the films Beynelmilel (2006), Nefes: Vatan Sağolsun (2009), Bizim İçin Şampiyon and Kafalar Karışık (2018), while also continuing his stage work.
