Bihter Dinçel — Biography

Bihter Dinçel was born in 1982 in Diyarbakır. After graduating from the Department of Philosophy at Ege University, she turned to acting and was trained within BKM Mutfak. She served at the İzmir State Theatre for five years.

She became widely known for her role as Zeynep in Avrupa Yakası, and between 2009 and 2011 she played Nazan in Geniş Aile. She has appeared in the series Dudaktan Kalbe, Kertenkele, Galip Derviş, Bana Sevmeyi Anlat, Tehlikeli Karım and Mucize Doktor, and in the feature films Vay Arkadaş and Ailecek Şaşkınız.

She has staged Hiç, Bak Bir Bulut Ağlıyor and the one-woman play Ayna Ayna, all of which she wrote herself. She married Barış Dinçel in 2008 and their son Yağmur Ali was born in 2011; the couple divorced in April 2026. In 2026 she took to the stage with the theatre play Aşiyan.
