Zeki Sezer — Biography
Zeki Sezer was born on 20 August 1929 in Edirne and died on 5 June 2007 in Istanbul. After graduating from a boys' high school in Edirne he moved to Istanbul, working for a time as a warehouse clerk for the city transport authority; following his military service he went to Izmir, where from 1951 to 1953 he worked as a customs guard officer. He later resigned from that post and returned to Istanbul, entering the film industry in 1967. Over the following decades he appeared in more than four hundred productions, becoming one of the most prolific supporting actors of Turkish popular cinema. He typically took secondary character parts, appearing in films such as Zagor, Acı Hayat, Kin and Mahkûm. His career stretched from the late 1960s into the early 2000s, and he remained a familiar face in Turkish film during that time.
