Law Enforcement (Kanun Gücü) (translated)

Kanun Gücü is a 1979 Turkish film. Cüneyt Arkın both directed and starred in the film, co-writing the screenplay with Safa Önal, while Memduh Ün served as producer. Blending adventure, drama and crime elements, the film follows police officer Ahmet's struggle against Sungur, a crime boss who has taken over Istanbul's drug, smuggling and gambling trade and is said to be behind a wave of murders in the city. Fearing that Ahmet will disrupt his operations, Sungur sets a trap that gets the officer expelled from the force. The cast includes Cüneyt Arkın, Aydın Haberdar, Ata Saka, Necla Fide, Zeki Sezer, Yadigar Ejder and Ekrem Dümer.
