Wound of Separation (Hicran Yarası) (translated)

Hicran Yarası ("Wound of Separation") is a Turkish drama series that TRT 1 broadcast between 2009 and 2010. TRT and Yağmur Ajans made it together, and the story is built around the character from whom the series takes its name, Hicran.

Nazan Kesal plays Hicran. Around her, Durul Bazan is Harun, Levent Can is Salih, Cengiz Coşkun is Tarık, Murat Daltaban is Dursun, Miraç Eronat is Vicdan, Toprak Sağlam is Müjde and Didem Uğurlu is Yıldız. Ceyhun Fersoy, Gülsüm Kamu, Erden Alkan, Garo Mafyan and Luran Ahmeti round out the large ensemble.

Two singers are part of the cast as well. Emrah entered the story after episode 28 as Aziz, a wealthy businessman, and İbrahim Tatlıses appeared as a guest over five episodes. Emrah also provided the title music, in addition to acting.
