Crazy Crazy Earrings (Deli Deli Küpeli) (translated)

Deli Deli Küpeli is a 1986 Turkish comedy-drama adapted from Cevat Fehmi Başkut's stage play Buzlar Çözülmeden. Its plot follows two patients who escape a mental hospital and, through a chain of coincidences, get mistaken for a district governor and a judge in a small town, triggering a run of comic misunderstandings among the locals.

The screenplay was written by Osman F. Seden, with director Kartal Tibet also contributing to it, and the picture was produced by Uğur Film. Kemal Sunal and Melike Zobu share the leading roles. The film belongs to a wave of mid-1980s Turkish comedies built around mistaken identity.
