Melike Zobu — Biography

Melike Zobu was born on March 21, 1963 in Istanbul. Known by her full name Ayşe Melike Zobu, she is a Turkish actress who was active in theatre and film during the later years of the Yeşilçam era.

She is best remembered for playing the character Hatice in the 1986 film Deli Deli Küpeli, a role that led the Turkish press to occasionally refer to her as “Yeşilçam's Spy Hatice.” Over the course of her career she appeared in numerous film and television projects, and has remained a recognizable face of Turkish cinema in the years since.
