Music and Dance (Çalgı Çengi) (translated)

Çalgı Çengi is a 2011 Turkish comedy film written and directed by Selçuk Aydemir. Starring Murat Cemcir and Ahmet Kural, the film was released with the sponsorship of Cem Yılmaz.

The story follows two cousins who earn their living as musicians at events such as weddings, engagement parties and henna nights. When they arrive to perform at a second-rate wedding hall, they witness a murder committed near the basement where they are preparing, and this unexpected event drags them into a chain of comic and dangerous adventures. In the roughly 90-minute film, Cemcir and Kural are joined by performers such as Bora Akkaş and Serap Önder. The film is remembered as one of the works that launched this duo's careers.
