Serhan Arslan — Biography

Serhan Arslan was born on January 15, 1981 in Istanbul. The actor, a graduate of Vefa High School, began performing on stage at the İstanbul City Theatres when he was only 8 years old. After completing the Philosophy Department of İstanbul University, he went to London and took part for one year in workshop studies at Central Saint Martins and the East 15 Acting School.

Arslan gained his real recognition in Turkey with the character Kopil in the series Hayat Bilgisi, which began in 2003; he appeared in series such as Cennet Mahallesi, Emret Komutanım, Akasya Durağı, Elveda Rumeli, Yahşi Cazibe and Harem. The actor, who played in the films Osmanlı Cumhuriyeti (2008) and Hayalet Dayı (2015), gave life to the character Naci in the series İki Yalancı, broadcast on Kanal D. Arslan, the first actor from Turkey to be selected for the Berlin Film Festival, married fashion designer Nazlı Ceren Köksal in 2022.
