Mariana Cordero — Biography

Mariana Cordero (born 15 July 1949 in Seville) is a Spanish actress who also works as an acting coach. Active in film and television since the 1980s, she has built up credits in more than thirty productions. Her screen work includes the features Solas (1999), The Heart of the Earth (2007), The Bride (2015) and The Influence (2019), as well as the series Padre coraje and Los Serrano. She became widely familiar to Spanish audiences through her roles as Begoña Espinosa in La que se avecina and Teresa García in El accidente. Alongside her performing career she has taught and trained other actors, and she is regarded as one of the reliable character actresses of contemporary Spanish cinema and television.
