Manuela Vellés — Biography

Manuela Vellés Casariego was born in Madrid on 16 January 1987 and works as a Spanish actress and singer. She had only just entered acting school when director Julio Medem cast her in the lead role of his 2007 film Caótica Ana, and she went on to appear in Javier Fesser's Camino. In later years she took roles in television series such as Velvet and El Ministerio del Tiempo, and in films including The Bride and Alegría, tristeza. She reached Turkish audiences through the Netflix release of Etki. Alongside acting she continues to work in music, remaining a familiar face in Spanish film and television.
