Leticia Dolera — Biography
Leticia Dolera is a Catalan-Spanish actress, screenwriter and director born on 23 October 1981 in Barcelona. She built her acting career through Spanish television series such as Los Serrano and El barco and films including El espejo, Kamikaze and The Bride, while gaining wider international notice for playing Clara in the horror sequel REC 3: Genesis, Teresa in Christopher Hampton's Imagining Argentina, and Carmen in the British series Mad Dogs. Beyond acting she moved into writing and directing, helming the feature Requisitos para ser una persona normal, which won three awards at the Málaga Festival and earned three Goya nominations in 2016, as well as several short films including Lo siento, te quiero. Her most acclaimed work is the series Cites, followed by Vida perfecta, which she created, wrote, directed and starred in; Vida perfecta won best series and best actress at the 2019 Cannes Series Festival, making her the first Spanish creator honored with that prize. She has also received the Turia Award for Best Actress and been named among Catalonia's most influential women.
