Carlos Álvarez-Nóvoa Sánchez (1940, La Felguera, Asturias – 23 September 2015, Seville) was a Spanish theatre director, writer, actor and university teacher. In 2000 he won the Goya Award for Best New Actor for his role in the film Solas.
