Los Serrano

Los Serrano is a Spanish comedy-drama series produced by Globomedia for Telecinco, which premiered on 22 April 2003. After eight seasons and 147 episodes it ended on 17 July 2008; it was Spain's most-watched programme in 2004 and received honours including the Ondas, Micrófono de Oro and Fotogramas de Plata awards.

The story follows the Serrano family in the fictional Santa Justa neighbourhood of Madrid. When widower Diego Serrano, a father of three sons, marries the divorced Lucía Gómez, who has two daughters, the two families move in together, and the series portrays their everyday life at home, at the children's school and in the family-run tavern Hermanos Serrano. The theme song '1 más 1 son 7' is performed by Fran Perea, who played Marcos in the series.
