Ana Fernández — Biography
Ana Fernández comes from the Andalusian town of Valencina de la Concepción, near Seville, where she was born on 29 May 1965. Known for her work in film, television and theatre as well as dubbing, she received the Goya Award for Best New Actress after playing María in Benito Zambrano's 1999 drama Solas. She took a small part in the Pedro Almodóvar film Talk to Her, and has also worked on stage in productions such as Yerma and in the series Sueños de Libertad. Her other film credits include The Bride, Historia de un beso and The Heart of the Earth.
