İdil Fırat — Biography

İdil Fırat is a Turkish theatre, film and television actress born on November 5, 1972 in Ankara. She graduated from the Theatre Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Dokuz Eylül University in 1995 and worked at the İzmir State Theatre, the İzmir Children's Theatre, the Ankara Art Theatre and the Dormen Theatre. She is also interested in painting and photography.

She became known as Billur in Deli Yürek (1999). After the series Bir İstanbul Masalı (2003), she appeared in the films Vizontele Tuuba (2004) and G.O.R.A. (2004) and took the lead role in Münferit (2007). She portrayed Berin Menderes in Ben Onu Çok Sevdim (2013), Despina in Poyraz Karayel (2015) and Mara Hatun in Mehmed: Bir Cihan Fatihi (2018), and appeared in Ramo (2020). More recently she acted in the films Mucize Aynalar (2024) and İki Dünya Bir Dilek (2025).
