Your Story (Senin Hikayen)

Your Story is a 2013 Turkish family drama-comedy written and directed by Tolga Örnek and produced by TAFF Pictures. Released in cinemas on 27 December 2013, the film stars Timuçin Esen, Selma Ergeç, Nevra Serezli and Sait Genay, supported by İdil Fırat, Murat Serezli and Yeşim Ceren Bozoğlu.

The story follows Hakan and Esra, a couple in their thirties who remain passionately in love after seven years of marriage. Esra is building a successful career and has even received a job offer from abroad, while Hakan, who owns a music studio, supports the family through advertising and film projects. When Hakan's mother Meral is diagnosed with cancer, her determination to see a grandchild before she dies collides with the couple's own hesitations about parenthood. An unexpected pregnancy then reshapes every balance within the family, blending warmth, humour and drama.
