Yüsra Geyik — Biography

Yüsra Geyik was born in Samsun on June 21, 1990, to a family from the district of Çarşamba; after the family moved to İstanbul she enrolled at Ataköy 60. Yıl primary school, discovering the stage in fourth grade through a visiting theatre course and drawing early notice for Horozum, a play she wrote and directed herself. She studied graphic design at İstanbul Kültür University and stepped in front of the camera at 13, beginning her acting career with Hayat Bilgisi (2003) before taking small parts in Yabancı Damat, Nehir, Kin ve Gül and Afacanlar Kampı.

She reached a wide audience playing Zeliha Çoban, known as Zeliş, in Arka Sokaklar from 2006 to 2021. She went on to play Melisa in Camdaki Kız, Hilal in Bozkır, Yağmur Akın in Aile, and Rüya in Taş Kağıt Makas; she then played Zeynep in Bir Gece Masalı and Kıvılcım in Sahtekarlar, appearing that same year in the film Bi Umut. Also known for social-media posts featuring her dog, Bobo, she played Hare in the 2026 series Bize Bi'şey Olmaz and drew attention for being on the set of ATV's Altı Üstü İstanbul.
