Chrysalis (Camdaki Kız)

Camdaki Kız (marketed internationally as Chrysalis) is a Turkish drama series directed by Nadim Güç and written by Seda Altaylı Turgutlu together with Yeşim Aslan, produced by OGM Pictures for Kanal D. It premiered in spring 2021, ran for three seasons, and closed out in the summer of 2023; the show adapts a novel of the same name by Gülseren Budayıcıoğlu.

At its core is young Nalan İpekoğlu, who grows up believing the couple who raised her are her parents, unaware that she is in fact their granddaughter — a hidden truth that drives the emotional core of the plot. After training as an architect, Nalan takes a job at the firm run by the wealthy Koroğlu family, owners of one of the country's largest hotel chains, and becomes engaged to Sedat, the family's youngest son, even as long-buried secrets begin to surface.

Burcu Biricik plays Nalan, with Feyyaz Şerifoğlu as Sedat, Enis Arıkan as Muzaffer and Selma Ergeç as Selen; Cihangir Ceyhan appears as Hayri, a figure closely tied to the family.

Shot entirely in Istanbul across its 82 episodes, the series went on to win Best Series at the Golden Butterfly Awards.
