Ünal Silver — Biography
Ünal Silver was born on July 16, 1948, in Istanbul. Of mixed Turkish-German background, he began his acting career in Germany in the early 1990s, appearing in a number of German productions.
He made his mark in Turkish cinema in 2006, playing the character Ayhan Abi in Cem Yılmaz's film Hokkabaz. He went on to appear in numerous television series, including Yalancı Yarim, Sessiz Fırtına, Bir Bulut Olsam, Gönülçelen, Deli Saraylı, Kuzey Güney, Benim İçin Üzülme, Aşk Yalanı Sever, Poyraz Karayel and No:309, and in later years took roles in popular productions such as Diriliş Ertuğrul and Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz.
After battling health problems for some time, the veteran actor died in Istanbul on August 29, 2023, at the age of 75.
