My Lying Love (Yalancı Yarim) (translated)

Yalancı Yarim (My Lying Love) is a Turkish television series produced by FM Yapım and broadcast on Star TV between 2006 and 2007. Blending love, romance, and comedy, it follows the relationship between Naz (Merve Sevi), the spoiled daughter of a wealthy family, and Tarık (Barış Akarsu), who works as the family's driver.

After failing the university entrance exam, Tarık is sent to Italy to study economics, but instead takes up rally racing and lives under the false identity of Alfonso. When his father discovers the truth and freezes his accounts, a court-ordered work requirement forces Tarık to leave home; hiding his wealthy background, he takes a job as a driver. His initial hostility toward Naz gradually turns into a deep love. The series was pulled off the air at episode 49 without a finale after lead actor Barış Akarsu died from a traffic accident during filming in Bodrum.
