Hakan Salınmış — Biography

Hakan Salınmış was born on 3 April 1964 in Ankara. He graduated from the Open Education Faculty of Anadolu University. Besides acting he also works as a decorative designer, and the foundation of his career was laid at Ankara Sanat Tiyatrosu, where he performed for many years. His stage work was recognised in 2013, when the Sadri Alışık Theatre Awards named him the year's most successful actor in a supporting role.

He first appeared on screen in 1993 in the series Ferhunde Hanımlar, becoming known for the role of Çaycı Mehmet. Over the following years long-running productions such as Bizim Evin Halleri, Aliye, Yalancı Yarim, Deniz Yıldızı, Çocuklar Duymasın, Sevdaluk, Şeref Meselesi and Muhteşem Yüzyıl Kösem made him a familiar television face. He played Eşref in the Kanal D series Vatanım Sensin, leaving the show in 2017. On film he took mostly comic parts, in Sen Kimsin?, as the Clown in Kara Bela and as Tuncay in Kocan Kadar Konuş: Diriliş.

In January 2021 he joined the cast of Doğduğun Ev Kaderindir as Ali Rıza Dayı, and he also appeared in productions such as Yakamoz S-245, Maviye Sürgün and Gaddar. In 2025 he played Dursun in the series Taşacak Bu Deniz.
